Becoming A Human Relations Professional

Program Requirements

Participants must meet the following certification requirements:

1. Satisfactory completion of all DTUI courses.


2. Evidence of trainer competency. Successful completion of an oral examination conducted by 3 members of the DTUI Certification Board. Participants will provide an intervention strategy for each of 3 case study scenarios, including an evaluation component, and defend each action plan. The Certification Defense is similar to that which is common in graduate degree training.



3. Evidence of experience. Participants will show evidence of 3 different training experiences after successful completion of the Certification Defense. A record of evidence and evaluation data must be available.

*Please note that completion of the above does not guarantee a participant that certification will be awarded. The final decision rests with the Certification Board. This insures that each individual meets the highest level of professional standards and that these standards are maintained.
